SELECTION CRITERIA

Step 1 (Interview)

After an application form has been submitted/client has approached the incubator. An interview appointment will be set for a brief presentation about the project to the project team.

Step 2 (NDA should be signed )

A non-disclosure agreement is an agreement that will exist between the client and eGoLiBio that will ensure that all the information that is reveal to eGoLiBio will be confidential, this will help to protect the client's Intellectual Property. This will be signed before or during the presentation

Step 3 (Concept document submission )

• Evaluating the technology
• Assess the feasibility of the technology
• Assess the market for the product or service
• General economics of the business
• Assess the staff involved in the project

Step 4 (Score card)

The client will then be rated on the eGoLiBio scorecard, which will determine whether the client qualifies to be incubated or not. This will be done on a point system form that will have all the questions which will be used for rating the client.If the client does not comply, a report will be written and the client must be referred to a relevant institution.

Step 5 (MOA; Project plan)

A memorandum of agreement will be drafted after the client has been assessed. This agreement will sum up all the work that needs to be done for the client and all the terms of reference, this includes a detailed project with all possible milestones and deliverable date.
